Our business has been formed using the knowledge and experience gained from over 30 years experience working in sales, service, repair, maintenance and installation of specialist doors.

We offer specialist door solutions that are value for money, high quality products & services, along with full customer satisfaction guarantee. Our wide ranging specialist door services provide the highest level of workmanship, professionalism and commitment to only using quality materials at every stage of the process. Our graded product range ensure a fully tailored system that is provided to meet your demands and design specification.

Established in 2010 in Carlisle Cumbria, Celsius Doors proudly enhance safety and security of the North West of England and South West Scotland. We specialise in the installation, maintenance and repair of industrial, commercial and residential doors, automatic gates, automatic barriers and automated access systems. Our engineers are qualified, skilled and ready to repair all aspects of any door.

Our Team

Founding Celsius Doors in 2010 from knowledge gained as an Electrical Engineer, Project Engineer and Service Manager for both a national and local door manufacturer. Richard enjoys working with a dynamic and energetic team of staff who help him meet our customers’ requirements. The most satisfying part of the job is providing a solution to a complex application when others struggle to do so. Away from work Richard values his time with his family and whenever possible watch Leeds United and ride his motorbikes.

Tony has recently joined the team here at Celsius Doors with a wealth of knowledge in the servicing and repair industry he is a real asset to the team. In his spare time Tony plays a lot of sport, squash, cricket & golf to name a few. Tony also enjoys spending time with his family. Tony will be on hand to assist you with any call outs or quoted work we are carrying out.

Sally joined the Celsius Doors team in May 2021. She focuses on new product and repair sales as well as assisting the HR Officer. Sally has a strong background of office administration support and customer service. She lives in West Cumbria and in her spare time she likes to travel and spend time with her family and friends. Sally is currently on maternity leave.

Luke has been in the door industry since 2016 and joined Celsius Doors in May 2023. Luke has been an excellent addition to the team. His favourite aspect of the job is fault finding and repairing electric systems. In his free time Luke likes to spend time with friends, go to horse races and enjoys cooking.

Barry joined the Celsius Doors team in May 2018. He organises, plans and co-ordinates all works for the team of engineers from a lead to a completed project. He ensures deadlines are hit and work is completed to our high standards. Barry enjoys football in his spare time.

Chris started his career at Safe Door then progressed to Celsius Doors working in the door industry for 11 years. His favourite aspect of the job is installation, starting from steel erection through to mechanical installation of the door including electrical commissioning. He enjoys motorsport and photography in his spare time.

Davidson HR supports over 250 SME businesses, mostly entrepreneur led in private sector, with all things people focussed. That includes things like employment advice, solving people issues in a kind and respectful way and in proactively implementing developments and legal requirements in HR practise and principles as changes to the law and thinking take us forwards.

Having spent a 30-year career leading Health & Safety and managing change within three prominent Cumbrian businesses, David launched Sanderson Safety Ltd in April 2018, to provide both practical & professional advice to local organisations as a Consultant.

Celsuis Doors Ltd became a Client of Sanderson Safety in early 2019 & a strong working partnership was created between the two organisations.

David assists Celsius Doors with aspects such as Policies, Procedures, Site Inspections, Safe Contractor SSIP Certification & Risk Assessments (and a few other things). David often finds too much time to pursue his golf hobby, having been a member of a local club for 40 years.
